The Alexandra Library will be closed the morning of Saturday 27 September (Blossom Festival). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Alexandra Library Refurbishment

On this page you will find regular updates on the Alexandra Library refurbishment so you can see the progress as it happens!

This exciting project has been made possible by Central Government’s Better Off Funding that provided 60% of the total cost. The renovation will include cosmetic internal renovation, new office equipment, shelving and some lovely enhancements that will make your library an even more welcoming and enjoyable place to spend time. There will also be the added convenience of toilet facilities available within the building.

The library closed its doors on Monday 10 June to prepare for the refurbishment which began on Monday 17 June.

Watch this space for the next update…coming soon!
