Early closure for Council facilities Friday 6 December - 11am

Central Otago District Council offices, service centres, pools (with the exception of Ranfurly Pool) and libraries will be closing early on Friday due to an organisation-wide staff event from 11am. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Omakau School/Community Library

Closed school holidays

Ōmakau Library is at situated within the main Ōmakau School building and is accessed from the veranda. While the collection is tailored to junior borrowers, you are welcome to have your holds delivered and drop your returns in during opening hours. There are no wi-fi or printing services available. Ōmakau Library is open 2 pm - 4.30 pm on Tuesday afternoons during term time.
